One of the favorite privileges available to you is skiing/riding when you are not working. When you are using your Employee Pass or complimentary ticket to ski/ride, you are subject to all terms and conditions of the Pass or ticket. While skiing and riding are exciting sports, you are not required to participate.
- All employees will be given an Employee Pass at the beginning of their employment.
- You will be entitled to skiing/riding privileges.
- While skiing or snowboarding on your own time, you may not wear a company uniform.
- Neither skiing/riding privileges nor Employee Passes are transferrable.
- Use of your Employee Pass by another individual will lead to revocation of card privileges and is grounds for termination of employment.
FT-12, FT-10, FTS & PTS |
Employee and eligible dependent passes issued during onboarding. |
PTOC & TEMP |
Employee by voucher through Supervisor. Not eligible for dependent passes. |
Skiing privileges are only available to employees who are currently working. Pass privileges will be deactivated upon end of employment.
Spring Skiing: Privileges will be extended to any employee and their eligible dependents that have been exited from employment in good standing for lack of work (non voluntary), if there are no other jobs in the company for which the employee is qualified, and is a YES for rehire.
Skiing is not part of your compensation and employees must remember that skiing itself bears inherent risks for which they assume responsibility.
Per State of Vermont law, the retention bar must be used at all times while riding the lifts. Any employee who does not use the retention bar will forfeit their lift privileges for the remainder of the season.
Skiing in a reckless manner may also result in the loss of your skiing privileges for the remainder of the season. Transfer of your Employee Pass to another person for any reason is considered a theft of service and is grounds for immediate dismissal.
