Visiting resorts are not obligated to provide discounts. Many ski areas only accept reciprocal skiers/riders' midweek and non-holiday.

Reciprocal Letter Request Process & Policies

Request Timing

Requests made more than two (2) weeks prior to your visit will automatically not be approved.

Verification Process

After submitting the Reciprocal Request Form:

  • Killington Resort & Pico Mountain Human Resources will verify:
  • You are an active employee or eligible volunteer
  • You are in good standing
  • Dependents meet eligibility requirements

Eligible dependents are defined as those who meet the criteria for obtaining a dependent season pass (see Employee Handbook).

Once verification is complete, Reciprocal Letters will be sent to the email address provided on the request form.

Letter Requirements

A physical (printed) letter is required when redeeming at the visiting resort. A digital copy may not be accepted.

If you do not have access to a printer, letters may be printed in the HR office for pickup.

Redeeming at the Visiting Resort

When you arrive at the resort:

  • Visit the resort’s ticket window
  • Present your Reciprocal Letter
  • Present your valid Killington Resort & Pico Mountain employee or volunteer pass

Eligible dependents do not need to be accompanied by the employee when redeeming a Reciprocal Letter.
